Technology is supposed to ease our lives, but when it starts to create clutter, a problem arises. With countless apps, notifications, and digital files, users are overwhelmed by digital clutter and lose productivity.

Problem Statement

Current organisation tools lack flexibility and often add to the chaos. The challenge is to design a UX/UI solution that helps users declutter and organise their digital lives with minimal effort.

Key Problems that users face are mentioned below,

  • Overwhelming notifications that create constant alerts from multiple apps lead to distractions and make it hard to focus.
  • Unorganised files that spread across different platforms make it difficult to find what’s needed.
  • Inefficiency because of a lack of a unified system users waste time searching for files and managing notifications.
  • Existing systems don’t offer enough control for users to customize notifications or file organisation.

Solution

Dedicated Yellow Slice designers Samruddhi and Riya answered all of these problems with a product called DeClutter that provided the following solutions:

  • Allow users to personalise notifications and organise files.
  • Help users manage and filter notifications to reduce distractions and notification overload.
  • Simplify organising files across multiple platforms to solve file management chaos.
  • To solve digital clutter, bring all notifications and files into a single, easy-to-use interface.

Expected Outcome

  • DeClutter allows users to be in control of their digital space by centralising files and notifications into one seamless interface.
  • With personalised organisation and filtering, users can easily locate files, and streamline their workflow.
  • This saves a number of hours of their day, ultimately boosting productivity and focus.
