Levitate is a design solution created to make access to mental health services faster and easier. Mental health issues are increasing daily, and youths are the major victims due to so many factors.
Problem Statement
Many of these mental health issues, like depression and anxiety, are difficult to diagnose, and then they snowball into bigger issues that can affect the physical and overall well-being.
- People now self-diagnose and prescribe medications that are harmful.
- Users do not have access to professionals that can help them.
- They are not conscious of their mental well-being and the need to take care of it.
Solutions
We have designers who got on board to find solutions that will make users consider using a mental health app, keep them, and refer them to others.
- Gamified method of getting information from the users and the use of streaks to maintain daily usage.
- A feature of self and mindfulness to help users reconnect with themselves after being overwhelmed.
- Levitate’s main goal is to connect users with trained and experienced psychologists and mental health experts without stress.
Expected Outcome
- Levitate should be able to garner a screen time of 2 hours per users daily
- It will increase Mental health literacy rate among users
- The gamified approach and mindfulness features will promote long-term use of the app.
- It should achieve a 4.0 star rating on a scale of 1- 5
- Generate at least 5 positive reviews and Testimonials daily.
