It promises to serve the business side of audience by rewarding employees with cinema tickets and pass. The idea was to build the brand slowly to create awareness to launch the portal targeting the consumers.
The brand had to be fun and entertaining. Also the brand had to take a different take on cinema and avoid known symbols and shapes associated with cinema.
The Cine rewards brand identity was inspired from the light of the cinema projector. The 3 bright colours red, blue and green were the colours that filled the colours on the big screen. The purple gave the colours nice base and lift to distinguish from the rest. The icon made a nice favicon on the website and app shortcut icon.
The site is still targeting business and corporates as it grows its presence in the market; The brand is currently planning on developing the Consumer portal in the next financial year.
